William “Bill” G. Finch

Age 95

Our brave and loving father; grandfather earned his wings on December 29, 2025 and is now safely in the loving arms of Jesus. He will be missed beyond measure. Preceded in death by his adoring wife, Carole; parents, Rudy and Ida Finch and many other special family and friends.

Lovingly survived by daughter, Tracy; sons, Mark (Nancy), Bill (Christine); grandchildren, Andrea (Aaron), Katie (Jeremy), Miranda, and Michael; great-grandchildren, Andrew, Eliah, Anthony and Ally; many nieces, nephews, granddogs and cats. 

A funeral service in his honor will be held at 12pm on Thursday, January 8th, 2026 at O’Halloran & Murphy Funeral Home (575 Snelling Ave S.). A Visitation will be held one hour prior at 11am. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, charitable donations are preferred to the donor's choice in Bill’s honor.

Our family wishes to thank the wonderful caregivers at Shalom East, especially Meski and Tom; the “angels” of St. Croix Hospice, most especially MacKenna and Stephanie.
