Eldredge, William Beaupre age 97 of Mendota Heights passed away on January 16, 2025. Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. Preceded in death by his wife, Clare (nee Hermes) and his parents W. Beaupre and Margaret Eldredge; siblings, Frank and Mary.
Father of Kathleen (Gregory) Johnson, Thomas (Anastasia), Phillip (Susan). Also survived by 7 grandchildren, Nicholas (Meaghan)Johnson, Katelyn (Eric) Mann, Alexander (Katie), Emma, Charles (Jenna), Jennifer (Lucas) Wallgren, and Amy; 8 great grandchildren, Theo, Kathleen, Owen, Adeline, Sophie, Loren, Sylas and Cameron, beloved brother of Cathy (Terry) Cummings, Ann (Gil) Anderson and many nieces and nephews.
Bill graduated from St. Thomas Academy and the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management. Following his time in the US Army with the 82nd Airborne Paratrooper Division he travelled for 5 months across Europe. He continued his love for travel with his wife, Clare, seeing the whole world. He enjoyed all seasons of the year by building back yard ice rinks, maple syruping, hunting for wild asparagus, picking cherries from his tree to make pie, duck hunting and playing bridge. Bill enjoyed being involved in several organizations: President of Immaculate Heart of Mary, St. Paul Parish Council, Minnesota Materials Handling Society, St. Paul Osceola Tennis Club, on the board of Thompson Park Senior activity Center, and Eagle Ridge Townhouse Association
Mass of Christian Burial Friday January 24, 2025, 11:00 AM at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Mendota with visitation one hour prior to the Mass. Interment at the church cemetery.
Memorials preferred to St Thomas Academy or St Peter’s Catholic Church.
