William "Bill" Francis Cremeen, age 78, of Little Canada, MN, passed away on April 29th after a battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
Born on December 10, 1946, in Baltimore, MD, Bill led a life defined by service, dedication, and love. A proud veteran, he served in the Air Force, spending several years assigned to the White House. After retiring from the military, he worked as a computer systems analyst before going back to public service as a lead screener for TSA and retiring in 2012.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joy Cremeen; his son, Jason Cremeen; and his parents, Anna and J.R. Cremeen.
He is survived by his children: Stuart Cremeen, Bryan Cremeen, Desiree Cremeen, Megan (Jimmie) Johnson, and Erinne Cremeen-Harris; and his grandchildren: Ty, Joshua, Madilyn, Andrew, Bryson, and Kane. He is also survived by five siblings and many nieces and nephews.
A service will be held on May 17th at 2 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 2335 Edgerton St. Little Canada, MN 55117. A visitation will be held from 12-1:30 PM at the same location. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Bill’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association or a veterans' charity of your choice.
Interment at Arlington National Cemetery will take place at a later date.
