Wayne T. Belisle

Passed away peacefully on July 29, 2022. Born in 1940 to Erv and Rosemary Belisle. Grew up in St. Paul, MN, and was a proud alumnus of Cretin High School, St. John's University, and U of M Law School. Wayne amassed many beloved friends throughout his school years. He was blessed from the beginning to the end and lived a full and storied life over his 81 years. He started his career as a lawyer before putting his law degree to use as an entrepreneur. His favorite accomplishments from his vast career include serving as President of the MN Fighting Saints and being a restaurateur. He is remembered for always being armed with a quick wit and a flare for fun. Wayne is preceded in death by his son Tim; his parents; his sister Mary; and brother in-law Ken. He is survived by his wife, Jan - the love of his life; children, Tom (Jen), Kris, Karissa (Pete) Goers; grandchildren, Hannah, Alex, Ben, Taylor, Joe, Maddy, Max and Loretta; siblings, Jim, Judy Krengel, Nancy (Pete) Oberle; & many beloved nieces and nephews. Visitation from 5-7pm Wednesday, August 17 at O’Halloran & Murphy Funeral Home, 575 Snelling Ave. S., St. Paul. Mass of Christian Burial 10am Thursday, August 18 at Church of the Assumption, 51 W. 7th St., St. Paul, MN. Burial Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Cretin Derham-Hall or St. John’s University.
