Age 92 of Oak Park Heights, MN

Went to be with the Lord on December 29, 2021. Velia was born on February 11, 1929 in Udine, Italy. In 1957, she married her husband Frank Andrzejczyk in Udine, Italy. While Frank served in the U.S. Military, they lived in many European countries before settling in Virginia, MN. Preceded in death by husband of 39 years, Frank Andrzejczyk (died in 1996); and sister, Luciana (of Italy). Survived by two daughters, Rosey Andrzejczyk and Lucille “Lucy” (Andrew) Carl; two granddaughters, Emily (Chris) Carl Campbell and Stephanie (Steve) Cascio; great-granddaughter, Eva Cascio (9 months old); sister, Gina (of Udine, Italy); and many nieces, nephews & friends. Very special thanks to the kind and caring staff at Boutwells Landing in Oak Park Heights, MN who cared for her for over seven years. A Celebration of Life will be planned in the summer of 2022. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to donor’s choice.
