Trey William Smith
Age 34 of Minneapolis
Trey entered this world straight into the hands of his dad on February 8, 1989, in the lobby of St. Mary’s Hospital, Minneapolis. He died unexpectedly on May 1, 2023, after struggling with mental illness for many years.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Francis and Frances Smith of Onalaska, WI and Charles and Lillian Haugland of Glen Ellyn, IL. Trey will be dearly missed by his parents, William and Leslie; his brothers, Justin (Emma), Dane (Tiffany), Lafe (Heather), and his sister Brett; four nieces; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral service will take place 3pm Saturday, May 13 at O’Halloran & Murphy Funeral Home, 575 Snelling Ave. S., St Paul with visitation beginning at 2pm. Private burial St. Mary’s Cemetery, Minneapolis.
