Theodore “Ted” Kueppers

Age 81, of New Brighton, formerly Fridley, passed away January 17, 2022. Ted was born June 20, 1940, to parents Florence and Fred Kueppers, Sr. in St. Paul. He graduated from Cretin High School in 1958 and served in the Navy. He then earned a degree in business from Bemidji State. He also had a real estate broker’s license and had a long career in shopping center management and leasing. Ted was active in many community and church organizations. He enjoyed attending sporting events of his children and grandchildren, playing golf, as well as being an avid fan of the Gophers, Twins and Wild. He was a MN Vikings season ticket holder for over 50 years. He looked forward to the winter months in Naples, FL. He had a kind, friendly, caring and generous spirit.

  Ted is survived by his wife of 52 years, Carolyn, daughter Michelle (Tony) Pogvara of Winfield, IL, sons Jeff (Susan) of Playa Vista, CA and Steve (Jodie) of Chanhassen; his grandsons Tyler, Evan, Connor and Thomas; sisters Mary Lou Wheeler, Sue Kueppers and Barb Fitzpatrick; brothers Fritz (Sue), Bob (Barb) and Bill; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters (Peggy and Florence) and brother Chuck.

Visitation 2-5pm Sunday, Jan 23 at Roseville Memorial Chapel, 2245 Hamline Avenue N.  Mass of the  Christian Burial will be held 11am Monday, Jan 24 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (835 2nd Ave. NW, New Brighton) with visitation one hour prior to mass at church. Mass will be livestreamed at https://livestream.com/accounts/5053468/events/10098275  Memorials can be given to Cretin-Derham Hall High School.
