Terrance John Huspeni Age 85 - Stillwater, MN Born: August 18, 1939, in Minneapolis, MN Died: February 22, 2025, in Stillwater, MN, peacefully in his sleep.
Terrance "Terry" John Huspeni, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away at the age of 85. Born to John and Dorothea Huspeni on August 18, 1939, in Minneapolis, Terry lived a full and meaningful life, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents and his cherished son, Michael Huspeni. He is survived by his devoted wife of 59 years, Mary; brothers William (Kathy) and Joel; his loving children: John (Meredith), David, Patrick (Dawn), and Molly. Terry was also a proud grandfather to Nathaniel, Rachel, Annabel, Laurel (Connor), Jaxon, and Olivia, as well as a doting great-grandfather to Rori and Isla. His nephew Dennis and nieces Kim, Andrea, and Lindsay will also remember him fondly.
After graduating from Cretin High School, Terry was drafted into the Army, where he served in Germany for two years as a radio operator. Upon his return, he married the love of his life, Mary. He spent 49 years in the grocery business, beginning as a stockboy at the age of 14, eventually rising to a district manager with National Tea, and concluding his career at SuperValu as a Retail Counselor.
Terry was an expert handyman, completing numerous projects in his homes and at his cabin. He generously shared his skills and knowledge, often supervising his children’s home improvement endeavors. An avid outdoorsman, Terry enjoyed hunting pheasant and fishing wherever his boat took him. He also cherished traveling with his wife, exploring new places and creating lasting memories together, as well as cruising with friends.
Mass of Christian Burial March 11th at 11 Am at Guardian Angels, Oakdale, visitation one hour prior.
Interment will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on April 28th at 10:45 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
