Susan Therese McMahon (nee Murray) 

Susan went to her eternal peace in the company of family on Wednesday, November 26th at the age of 83.  Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Louise Murray, her brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Geraldine Murray, Leonard and Arlene Murray and brother in law, James Janssen; her son-in-law, Larry Emmons and niece, Katy Harris. Susan is survived by beloved HUSBAND of 61 years, William J. McMahon; SISTER, Louise (Murray) Janssen; SISTER-IN-LAW, Rosemary McMahon; CHILDREN, Molly (Jeffrey) Schultz, Patrick McMahon, Andrew McMahon and James McMahon; GRANDCHILDREN, Charles (Lyndsey) Emmons, Kathleen Schultz and Joseph Schultz; many special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  A connector of people, and a librarian by trade, she made it her mission to put books in the hands of children. For 50 years she volunteered in and championed for her church and school libraries, as well as worked in the Hennepin County and St. Paul Public Library systems for many years. VISITATION Monday, December 1, 2025 from 3-7pm at O’Halloran and Murphy Funeral Home (575 S. Snelling Ave., St Paul, 651-698-0796). MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL 10am on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at Lumen Christi Catholic Church (2055 Bohland Ave, St Paul). Visitation 1 hour prior to Mass at church. Interment, St. Patrick's Cemetery. Memorial (in lieu of flowers) preferred to Visitation School and the Alzheimer’s Association of MN/NDAK.
