Shirley Frances Cushnie (nee Jonick), 90, lately of Woodbury, MN, longtime resident of Kailua, HI, was born in Pueblo and raised in Grand Junction CO. As a young nurse she moved to Hawaii in 1963 where she met and, after a short courtship, married Dr. Robert D. Cushnie (d. 2015). She is survived by her daughter Colleen (Mike) Burns, and sons Charles and Carl (Lisa), brother Robert (Rosie), ten grandchildren (Chris, Kevin, Grace, Ian, Dominic, Margaret, Aiden, Victoria, Vincent) and two great grandchildren (Marcus, Eleanor).

A Funeral Mass will take place at Our Lady of the Visitation, 875 Manomin Avenue South, Saint Paul, Minnesota 55107, on May 2, 2026, starting at 9:00 am, preceded by the rosary at 8:30 am.

An Interment Service will take place at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery, 45-425 Kamehameha Highway, Kaneohe, Hawaii 96744, on June 13, 2026, beginning at 1:00 pm.
