Sandra (Peterson) Schaefer

Schaefer, Sandra K., (née Peterson) age 83 of Woodbury,

Passed away peacefully after a long battle with Parkinson’s on August 31, 2025 surrounded by family.  Beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.  Preceded in death by husband and love of her life Raymond; son Scott; parents Arthur and Katheryn Peterson; and brother Leonard Peterson. Survived by her dear children Mark, Don (Diane), Dave (Sue), and Jill (Paul) Omodt; six cherished grandchildren, Tony Schaefer, Scott Omodt (Olivia Bolles), Sarah Omodt, Matt, Jake, and Ben Schaefer; adored sister Bonnie (Ron) Shepard, sister In-Law Gwen Peterson and also a loving community of relatives, friends, and neighbors. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am, Friday, September 19th, with a visitation at 10am, at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 8260 4th St N, Oakdale, MN 55128. Memorials preferred to: The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
