In Loving memory of Sandra Jean Miller 

Sandra Jean Miller passed away on November 2, 2025. Born on March 25,1947 in Columbia, MO. Sandra devoted her life to the noble calling of teaching. 

Sandra was a dedicated, loving Special Education teacher who cared deeply for her students.  She inspired students not only to learn, but to grow and believe in themselves. She was admired for the creative lessons that brought learning to life and for the unwavering support offered to every student, both inside and outside the classroom. Sandra’s classroom was always a place of encouragement and discovery; filled with curiosity and hope she cultivated each day. Sandra will be remembered for her infectious enthusiasm for education and the genuine care shown to everyone she encountered. 

Sandra was a loving, caring person and generous to a fault. 

Sandra was a devoted mother.  She provided love and support to her children who dearly miss her and the life lessons she imparted to them. 

Sandra will be remembered for the tree she decorated year-round to celebrate holidays and special occasions. 

Sandra is survived by husband, Gordon, daughter, Mayda, and son, James, as well as many colleagues, and friends whose lives were profoundly touched by her dedication and care. 

A Memorial service will be held next year in the Spring, where loved ones, friends, and fellow educators can gather to celebrate Sandra’s legacy of learning and kindness. 

Though we grieve Sandra’s passing, we are comforted by the enduring lessons, memories and love she shared so freely. Sandra will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all those whose lives she helped shape.
