Ruth L. Schumi (nee Nelson)

Passed away on February 11, 2025. Preceded in death by sister, Kristine Nelson. Survived by loving husband of 48yrs, Michael; son, Matthew (Michelle); sisters, Bonnie and Karin; grandchildren, Jerret, Henry, and Madison; and nieces and nephews. Ruth supported youth programs in Saint Paul. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM, Friday, February 21, at Church of Saint Rita (8694 80th St. S., Cottage Grove). Visitation beginning at 10 AM until start of Mass at church Friday. Private burial. Memorial’s preferred.
