In Loving Memory: Rick Loga
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our Beloved Father, Brother, and Friend Rodney D. (Rick) Loga. Rick departed on June 21, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of resilience, love, and treasured memories.
In his 55-year career as a Computer Scientist, Rick was widely respected and sought after for his brilliance in converting expiring mainframe data to server-based data designs. His commitment to excellence earned him the admiration of colleagues, peers, and clients alike. This was after serving 6 years in the Navy and Navy Reserves during the Vietnam War.
Above all, Rick was the Beloved Husband to Joyce L Loga (nèe Oredson, deceased), a devoted Son to his Parents, Roy & Sylvia Loga (WI, deceased), Brother to (Larry Loga (deceased), Jeff Loga, Kurt Loga & Kay Loga, Father to Lynnette Loga Shaw & LaMonte Loga, and Grandfather to Antony Loga (deceased), Michele Loga, Monica King (Logan), Margaret (Geordyn) Shaw & MaryAnne (Harmonia) Shaw, and Great-grandfather to Elizabeth Loga and Abel Loga. He was also a steadfast friend to Patrick Konkle (WI). He was also a devoted Nephew, Uncle & Cousin to numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins, Nieces and Nephews. His deep commitment to family was evident in the joyful gatherings, acts of unwavering support, and sacrifices made to uplift loved ones. Friends regarded Rick as a pillar of strength, and a source of positivity through life’s challenges.
Though we mourn the loss of our beloved Father, Brother and Friend, we also celebrate the invaluable gift of his presence in our lives. He illuminated the path for many, teaching us to embrace life fully, love unconditionally, and strive to leave the world a better place.
