Robert "Bob" (Bubba) Marshall passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was 75 years old. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 45 years, Mary Lee; his parents, William and Gertrude; and his sisters, Donna Geisen and Judy Tersteeg. Bubba is survived by his brothers Bill (Patricia) and David (Gretchen); brother-in-law Duane Geisen; brother-in-law Wally Tersteeg; children Carley (Tony Sonnen) and John (Jen); grandchildren Hannah Audi (Michael), Aidan, Levi, Pio, Alexander, Vincent, Simone, and great grandson due May; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and strangers whose lives he touched. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, January 19, 2025, at Nativity Catholic Church, 1938 Stanford Avenue, St. Paul, Minnesota. Family and friends are invited to gather following the Mass at Skinner’s Pub, 919 Randolph Avenue, St. Paul, where the family will receive visitors until 3:30 p.m. Burial will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery with full military honors on January 29, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. Memorials are preferred to Our Lady of Peace Hospice, with special thanks to the Sisters, Jess, Chrissy (Montana), Gerald, Gwen, Millie, Jacob, Peter, Vic, Megan, and all who lovingly cared for Bubba at OLP.
