Robert William “Bill” Kritta
Age 82. Born Feb 20, 1939 and died peacefully on September 13, 2021.
Preceded in death by parents, William J. and Gertrude G. Kritta, his two brothers Jack and Tom, and grandson Carter Geyen.
Survived by his loving wife Suzie Kritta and his five children Kathryn (Marcia) Peters, Robert J. (Jodi) Kritta, Kristine Kritta (David Watson), Karolyn (Stephen) Geyen, Kelly (Cullen) McDyre. His eight grandchildren, one great grandchild and Suzie’s two daughters and their families will miss his hugs and his delicious soups. His cousins, nieces and nephews and his many friends will also miss his warm smile and quick wit.
Bill was a proud alumnus of Cretin High School (’57) and the College of St. Thomas (’62). He was a 25-year member of Knights of Columbus council #4021 and a proud member of the MN Army reserve. He was a lifelong CPA and retired to travel more and sleep in later. “Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles.” Isaiah 40:31.
Visitation 2-5pm, September 19 at O’Halloran & Murphy, 8700 Valley Creek Road, Woodbury. Mass of Christian Burial 11am September 20, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3878 Highland Ave., White Bear Lake with visitation one hour prior. Private family interment Calvary Cemetery.
