Beloved husband, father, proud grandfather “papa,” brother, uncle, and friend Robert Paul Dorobiala, age 74 of Woodbury, Minnesota passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on November 8, 2023 after a nearly 7 year battle with myelodysplastic syndrome. He met Kristine Score, daughter of the owner of Menomonie’s Pontiac car dealership and they fell in love and married on April 27, 1974. They began their life together in the suburbs of Chicago, where their two daughters were born.
“Binder Bob” made his career in printing, lithography, graphic arts, and photography. He founded his own business called RPD Graphics and also worked for his father’s business, Cedar Valley Printing where their projects included Ovation Records and the Ludwig Drum Company. He was an accomplished salesman with Rockwell International selling printing presses. He served as president of the Twin Cities Litho Club, and board member of the Stout Alumni Association. Bob enjoyed classic cars, hunting, fishing, politics, Chicago Bears football, and especially reading to his grandchildren.
