Passed away unexpectedly on June 17, 2022

Bob was born and raised in Saint Paul, serving on the Highland District Council for many years. He was passionate about providing proper access to water and sewage for the residents of West 7th. In his spare time, Bob could be found fixing up his vintage Mercedes Roadster. He was an audiophile, spending years compiling an ample vinyl collection. Bob had an enduring love of history, and enjoyed sharing facts and tidbits with everyone he could. He was an endlessly generous person, devoting his life to bettering the community he loved so much. He was preceded in death by his daughter Felicity; parents Cecelia and John; and sister Valerie. He will be deeply missed by his children, Jonathon, Anna, and William; siblings John (Amie) and Teressa; his beloved dog, Caesar, and cat, KitKat; and many nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends. A visitation will be held 4-7pm Thursday, June 23, at O’Halloran & Murphy, 575 Snelling Ave. S. St. Paul. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at one of Bob’s favorite structures in town, the Cathedral of St. Paul, 239 Selby Ave. on Friday June 24 at 10 am. He will be interred privately at Elmhurst Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred; details TBD.
