Passed away peacefully into the hands of the Lord at home on November 8th, surrounded by family.  Rita was known for her devout Catholic faith and love of family. Preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Bill; her oldest son, Steven; siblings, Marlene Seiler, Paul Sachwitz, and Jane Squillace.  Survived by son, Mark (Elizabeth) Hermes; daughters, Susan (Paul) Quam, Mary (Bill) Parnell, Anne (Dan) Burt, Julie (Chris) Steiner; brother, Louis Sachwitz;  sisters-in-law, Carol Sachwitz and Lucille Sachwitz; 23 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.  Visitation Tuesday, November 11, 4-7pm at Roseville Memorial Chapel, (2245 Hamline Avenue North, Roseville).  Mass of Christian Burial, Wednesday, November 12, at 10:30am, at Church of the Holy Childhood (1435 Midway Parkway, Saint Paul), followed by luncheon and interment at Calvary Cemetery.  Special thanks to Teri and the staff at Our Lady of Peace home hospice services, and Fr. Andrew Brinkman of Holy Childhood.
