Richard John Lundberg

Richard (Dick) John Lundberg, devoted husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully at Our Lady of Peace Home, St. Paul MN on November 26, 2022 at the age of 85.

Dick was born to Olaf and Ellena Lundberg on February 12, 1937 in Rosendale, MN.  After graduating from Willmar HS, Dick joined the Air Force in 1955. He began his 40-year career as mechanic at Firestone Tire & Rubber Co in 1959.  Dick married Claudene (Sue Barton) in May of 1963 raising two sons, Scott and Jeffery.  A master repairman of most anything, Dick enjoyed wood working, cheering on the Vikings and fishing. 

Dick is survived by his wife Claudene (Sue), his sons Scott (Burton) of Madison, WI, Jeffery (Rima), grandchild Nabil, and sister Helen Lundberg of Richfield, MN.

Donations can be made in Dick’s memory to Our Lady of Peace Home in St. Paul, MN in appreciation for their kind and compassionate care in the last days of Dick’s life.  A visitation is scheduled Saturday 12/3 at 10am followed by a service at 11:00am at Roselawn Cemetery and Chapel in Roseville.
