Passed Away on May 6, 2022

Richard Cossetta was born in St. Paul MN; son of Frank and Frieda Cossetta. He is preceded in death by his wife Theodora (Teddy/ nee Glombik) He is survived by his Children: Dave (Gail) Cossetta, Deb (Victor) Santana, Michelle Cossetta, Grandchildren: Jacob (Tammy), Gina, Andrea (David), Danielle  (Jesse), Joe, Myles (Meghan), Giovanni, Justin (Haleigh); Tony (Naomi), Great Grandchildren: Makayla, Mackenzie, Lucia, Evelyn, Eleanor, Estelle, Amare, Crew, Dax. Richard grew up in (by St. Paul’s Little Italy, The Levee) Irvine Park with his siblings Michael, Gary, Nancy and Frank. He graduated from Mechanic arts and played football and ran track. After his tenure in the U.S. Army he worked his entire career at N.S.P. and married his H.S. Sweetheart; the love of his life Teddy, and raised his family. He loved playing softball and golf and having coffee with his friends after retirement. He was at the Head of the Table at Saturdays “Same A Bunch” Lunch at Cossetta’s, with his best friend Emmett.

Funeral Services 10:00am Thursday May 12, 2022 at Assumption Church, 51 7th St. W., St. Paul, MN with visitation beginning at 8:30am. Luncheon following mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Our Lady of Peace Hospice. Special thanks to Inver Glen Senior Living, Regions & United Hospitals and most of all the Love and Care given by Our Lady of Peace Staff.
