Passed away April 29th, 2023.

Rebecca grew up in Falcon Heights, Minnesota and graduated from Roseville High School in 1998.  She continued her education at the University of St. Thomas graduating with a degree in Environmental Studies.

Rebecca displayed a deep love of animals from a very early age.  It was typical to find her in the presence of her dogs.  

Another important interest of Becky’s was competitive running.  Without the aid of a coach, she was able to complete many races and marathons.  This was indicative of her personal strengths – endurance and perseverance.  

Rebecca had varied interests and was always up for a challenge.  She learned to play the guitar and loved long distance bicycling.

It was important for Rebecca to connect with family members in outdoor activities, such as biking and kayaking.

Her compassion and devotion were exemplified by the care of her long-time partner Aaron McCallum, who passed away last year.

Rebecca was proceeded in death by her husband, Aaron McCallum; grandparents Greyton Sr. and Ophelia Becker and Kenneth and Betty Kelly.  She is survived by her parents, Greyton Jr. and Pamela Becker; siblings, Jennifer (Steve) Oliva-Hodek and Greyton III (Victoria) Becker; nieces and nephews, Alexander, Nicholas, Madeline, Greyton IV, and Margaret; 4 dogs; and many other loving aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am Friday, May 12th, 2023 with visitation from 10:00 – 11:00am at Roseville Memorial Chapel, 2245 Hamline Ave. N., Roseville, MN.
