Rajib Ghoshal passed away unexpectedly on May 11, 2025, at 5 PM. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a man of incredible perseverance, generosity, and strength. Until his final moments, Rajib remained committed to his work, his values, and most of all, his family.

Born on August 28, 1967, in Kolkata, India, Rajib was a self-made man with an unwavering dedication to excellence. His professional journey began at Siemens in India after he founded his own software development company, Hardsoft. He later joined Microsoft, which brought him and his family to Seattle, and eventually to Minnesota, where he continued his career at 3M. Even in the face of immense challenges, Rajib continued to work with dignity and resolve, determined to support his wife Monika, daughter Ayushi, and son Akshat.

Rajib’s legacy is one of quiet strength and deep compassion. He was a kind soul who gave selflessly—whether it was supporting his mother’s cancer treatment, celebrating his daughter’s milestones, or helping his son through his undergraduate and master’s education. He offered help to friends, extended family, and even strangers, always with sincerity and without hesitation. Those who knew him will remember his calm demeanor, gentle voice, and the warmth he brought into every conversation.

He was a man who never gave up—who fought with grace and courage until the very end. His love was a steady presence, and his sacrifices will never be forgotten. Rajib touched the lives of many, not only through his actions but through the deep sense of care and responsibility he carried for those around him.

He is survived by his wife Monika, daughter Ayushi, and son Akshat. His memory will continue to guide and inspire us. He leaves behind not just a family, but a legacy of love, hard work, and kindness.
