Age 75 of St. Paul, died peacefully on January 31st, 2023.
Phil was proud to work at Control Data, Kamstra Communications, and Ameriprise, retiring from Riversource Insurance and Annuities. He enjoyed golf and fishing throughout his life, especially fishing trips with his sons and brother. He was an excellent cook, preparing many feasts and holiday meals. Later in life he became a huge fan of NASCAR, and took the family to the Daytona 500.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and Art Cunnien; and brothers, Ronald, Alan, and Brian.
Phil is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sue; sons, David (Hayden) and Joe (Jessica); grandchildren, Daniel, Charley, Aisley, Pearl, Leo, George, and Franny; sister, Maryanne; brother, Doug (Joanne); and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, February 11th, 2023, with a gathering of family and friends 1:00-3:00 PM all at O'Halloran and Murphy, 575 Snelling Ave. S, St. Paul MN. Light refreshments to be served after the service.
