Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend, went to his heavenly home on Fri., Sept. 12th surrounded by loving family.
Paul is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Mary (Sorensen) Jeske, son Michael (Linda); daughter Karen (Mark) Boatman; grandchildren Stephen (Ashley) Boatman, Marisa Boatman, Daniel (Brienna) Boatman, Trevor (Abby) Jeske, Alexandra (Jerry Morgan) Jeske, Zoe Jeske; great grandsons
Alexander and Theodore Boatman; brother-in-law Thomas Norquist; special son, Gerard Visconti, nieces, nephews and friends.
Paul was preceded in death by son Stephen W Jeske, parents Kenneth and Lois Jeske, and sister Barbara Norquist, his in-laws, and other relatives.
Paul was born in St Paul on April 2,1937. He graduated from St Paul Johnson high school in 1955 and Gustavus Adolphus College in St Peter MN in 1959. He was on the golf team and lettered all four years. He joined and proudly served in the United States Marine Corps.
He was employed at 3M for over 30 years retiring in 1996. In 1969 he bought the property on Roosevelt Lake where weekends were spent while he was working. After retirement summers were spent at the lake right up to the present. Many great memories were made there with good neighbors and friends.
He will be remembered for his competitive nature and his caring and generosity.
He will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.
Visitation is at 10 am, Friday, October 10th; with service immediately following, at Woodbury Lutheran Church, 7380 Afton Rd. Woodbury. In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials to Crooked Lake Emergency Services (in memory of Paul Jeske) Outing, MN 56662. The service will be live streamed at funeral.wlc.church starting at 11:45am, Service will start at 12pm.
