Patricia  “Pat” A. (née Farrell) Tinucci

Age 93, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2025.

Born May 13, 1932 in St. Paul, MN. She graduated from South St. Paul High School in 1950 and married Louis Tinucci, Jr. later the same year. Their first child was born one year later. They moved to Newport, MN in 1951 and Pat worked side-by-side with Louie to start a business and raise a family. Together they raised seven children and built Tinucci’s Restaurant, leading employees and serving guests like family.

Pat and Louie were married for nearly 66 years before he died. They had a love of adventure and enjoyed traveling the world with friends, old and new, and collected many more friends along the way. Hospitality and generosity were cornerstones of their marriage, and they were happiest where they could welcome and spend time with family and friends, especially summers at Half Moon Lake, WI, winters in Pompano Beach, FL and spring in Acapulco, MX.

Pat was a very strong woman known for her quick wit and wisdom, and even quicker smile. She had a sparkle that lit up a room, and she exuded kindness and a warmth that stays with people. The matriarch of her family, she led with love, grace and strength. She was a woman of faith, stayed connected to her community and found comfort in her faith until her death.

Pat lived at St. Therese of Woodbury where she became a beloved member of the community for the past 9 years. Her family is forever grateful to the staff at St. Therese of Woodbury and St. Croix Hospice for the loving and compassionate care they provided in her last years and days of life.

She is survived by children Louis III (Susan), John (Carrie), Mark Sr. (Morida), Greg ”Gus “(Lisa), Ann, Patrick (Helen) and Mary; 15 Grandchildren Amy (John) Hackett, Margaret (Kris) Jares, Louis IV (Melissa), Katharine, Mark Jr., Elizabeth (Marcos Stoffel), Amanda (Alex) Goligoski, Jack (Sonja), Adam (Anna) Anderson, Megan (Cody) Englin, Abigail (Kevin) Jendra, Natalie (Jonathon) Lucas, Nicholas (Amber), Francesca, and Anthony; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by husband Louis Tinucci, Jr., her mother Pearl Farrell, brother Patrick Farrell and sister Elizabeth Bubb.

Mass of Christian Burial 11 am Monday, September 15 at Church of St. Thomas Aquinas (920 Holley Ave, St. Paul Park, MN 55071). Visitation 9:30 am prior to service at the church. Interment St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery in St. Paul Park.
