Nancy (Logsdon) Newman

Nancy died unexpectedly in her sleep on July 2nd. She was 66 years old.

She was born in Minneapolis, grew up in New Brighton and later moved to St. Paul.

She graduated from Mounds View HS and attended Century College. Nancy attended Eaglebrook Church - Woodbury.

She enjoyed working for Merrick Charitable Gambling for over 20 years where she fulfilled several different roles.

She would do anything for her family and friends. She cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren They meant the world to her. Nancy enjoyed crocheting, gardening and canning. She was a beautiful loving soul who loved many and will be missed greatly by all.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Logsdon; sister-in-law, Angela Logsdon; mother in-law, Delores Christiansen; brother-in-law, Merle Newman; sister-in-law, Kathy Newman

Survived by her husband of 32 years Brian Newman

sons, Shane Logsdon, Jeremy Logsdon, and Brian (Kimberly) Newman Jr;

father, Robert Logsdon;

siblings, Roy Logsdon, Laurie (Todd) Rieken, Mary (Ed Gray) Krey, and Tina (Eric) Deitz; grandchildren, Chloe, Amelia, Brian III, Bo, Oliva and Alex and

great grandchild Asher; in – laws; Jimmy (Sandy) Johnson, Mark (Dorinda) Newman, Karen Newman, Christine Becker and Kelly (Ryan) Lang and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday July 24th 11:00am at EagleBrook Church, Woodbury, 11125 Eastview Dr., visitation one hour prior.  Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to the family.
