Michael Leo Grovum "Mike"

Age 74 of Lake St. Croix Beach

Passed away surrounded by family on September 15, 2025.
He is preceded in death by his parents Clayton and Marguerite; and sister Patricia Fuchs. Mike will forever be missed by his wife of 33 years, Peggy; his children, Patrick, Michael, and Shannon; granddaughter Olivia; and siblings, Clayton "Spike", Laurie, David, and Mary Beth Warner.

Mike was a proud graduate of Cretin High School, Class of 1969. He was a lifelong Twins fan and had a passion for carpentry. Enjoyed spending time with family and friends at the cabin which he built from the ground up. Mike was a dedicated and compassionate nurse of 46 years, most of which was at United Hospital. He cared for every patient like they were his own family and developed lasting friendships with his colleagues. Mike's family would like to thank the nurses of station 2500 for their compassionate care for him and his family.

Mass of Christian Burial 11am Wednesday, September 24 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 16770 13th St. S. Lake St. Croix Beach, MN with visitation beginning at 9:30am. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family, which they will donate to the Amery High School Athletic Department.
