Michael Zier

“Oh, I have slipped the surly bonds of earth to touch the face of God.”    

Michael lived a long and happy life with his devoted mother, Tina, who took care of him for 70 years, and almost 11 months.  Michael died peacefully at the Shores of Lake Phalen in Maplewood, Minnesota with his Mother and cousin by his side.  Michael was born in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. He enjoyed riding his four-wheeler around the farm, picking apples, and any other chores he could find.  He is survived by his Mother, Chestina M. Zier, his Aunt, MaryAnn Swanson, and many cousins. Preceded in death by his father, Walter H. Zier, sister, Margaret Ann Zier, and grandparents. A private burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery, St. Paul, MN.
