Michael Casey McCann

Michael Casey McCann was born in St. Paul, MN on August 30, 1951 and peacefully passed away at home surrounded by love on May 26, 2026. Preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Colleen; infant brother Colin; in-laws Colleen and Bill Deuberry and Fred Sorentrue.  He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Camille; daughter Casey (Tom) Stephens; grandchildren, Maeve, Colin and Owen; sister Moira Sorentrue, brother Bill (Laura) McCann; many brothers and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews. 

He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of Minnesota graduating with honors and Phi Beta Kappa distinction.  After earning his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School, he practiced law in Rosemount, MN.

Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, May 29, 2026 at 10:30 a.m., visitation one hour prior, at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 1938 Stanford Ave., St. Paul, MN.  Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Nativity of our Lord Scholarship Fund, National MS Society, or donor's choice.
