Mary Joanne Hjelle

Age 90, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2026, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Joanne was preceded in death by her parents, John and Dorothy Peterfeso; her brothers, Jack, James, and Richard Peterfeso; and her fiancé, Fred Krueger. She is survived by her loving son, Ron Hjelle; her brother, Bob Peterfeso (Pat); her sister, Kathleen Nash (Terry); and many cherished family members and friends. Her kindness and warmth will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Mass of Christian Burial 11AM, April 30, at Guardian Angels Catholic Church (8260 4th St. N. Oakdale). Visitation 1 hour prior to start of Mass at Church. Memorials preferred to Union Gospel Mission and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
