Graduated from Our Lady of Peace High school in 1964. She had a long career in Retail Management for Daytons and then Herbergers until she retired.

Preceded in death by her husband Thomas “Tim” Gavin, her parents John Farkas and Elizabeth (Gyurci) Farkas.

Survived by her beloved daughter Sara Gavin, granddaughter Trinity who was the light of her life, “Favorite” Cousin Valetta Gyurci, Cousin Lisa Heinz whom she called her “Angel,” close friend Anne Stutsman, and many other close friends and relatives. 

Services at St Rose of Lima Catholic Church  2048 Hamline Ave N Roseville 

Wednesday September 17, 2025

Visitation 9am & Funeral Mass 10am. Internment at a later date.
