Mary Katherine (Graupmann) Gagne March 8, 1945 – August 13, 2025 Mary Katherine (Graupmann) Gagne, beloved wife of Donald J. Gagne, was called home to the Lord on the morning of August 13, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.

Mary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, sister-in-law, friend — and a true magic maker. Mary is survived by her husband Don; her four daughters — Amy Hollembeak, Kaydi Decker (Andrew), Julie Gagne, Sarah Aldean (Jake), and her seven grandchildren — Kaitlynn Hollembeak, Jackson and Joshua Decker, Emma, Madeline, Peter, and Luke Aldean — who were the light of her life. She also leaves behind her cherished nieces and nephews, along with many dear friends, all of whom held a special place in her heart.

Born on March 8, 1945, in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, Mary was the daughter of Lyle and Evelyn Graupmann. She grew up in Roseville and attended St. Rose of Lima Elementary School and Our Lady of Peace High School in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Susan Littnan. She is survived by her beloved younger sister, Ann Zuckerman (Mike), and by her devoted Gagne brothers- and sisters-in-law, who shared in her life with love and faithfulness. Mary’s love was wholehearted, and her presence unforgettable. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Funeral services will be held at St. John’s Church in Little Canada on August 29, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow the service, with a luncheon afterward. Memorials may be made to CASA of Minnesota, supporting advocacy for children in need, in Mary’s honor — a cause also championed by her late sister, Susan.
