Marlys Fenske Obituary

Marlys Jean Fenske, born August 19, 1936, went home peacefully to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 24, 2025.

Marlys is preceded in death by her parents John and Mathilda Blokzyl, first husband Roy Glanz; husband John Fenske, sister Jeanette Menke, brothers Bernard (Bud) and Kenneth (Gravedigger) Blokzyl, infant brother Charles, infant sister Geraldine, and grandson Christopher Glanz.

Marlys is survived by her children Terry Glanz, Greg Glanz, Tami Fry, and Grant (Julie) Glanz; 8 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, sister JoAnn (Tootie) Villarreal of Illinois, and brother Jim Blokzyl of Washington state.

Services will be held on Thursday, January 8 at The Gathering Place, 3245 New Brighton Road, Arden Hills, MN 55112. Service at 11 a.m.; visitation one hour prior to service. Interment Hillside Cemetery.
