Marilyn J., age 90, of North Oaks, formerly Shoreview and Roseville.

Marilyn was born on June 29, 1935, to Harold and Dagny Rongstad and passed away peacefully into God’s loving arms on June 16, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Sharon Kill; her brother, Buzz; her niece, Amy Kill; and her beloved husband, Edwin. She will be deeply missed by her daughters, Marybeth (Evan Stoltz), Gretchen, and Julie (Stephen Lime); her son, James (Jo); her grandchildren, Gunnar Stoltz, Owen (Lauren) Steinwall, Dana Steinwall, Annika Lime, and Erin Lime; and many other relatives and dear friends. Marilyn was a retired RN from Abbott Northwestern Hospital and enjoyed hiking with the St. Paul Hiking Club, volunteering at her church, and making memories with her grandchildren. The family is especially grateful for the loving care Marilyn received from her caregivers at PHS Waverly Gardens and HealthPartners Hospice. Memorial service at 2 PM Friday, June 26, 2026, at Waverly Gardens Chapel lower level (5919 Centerville Rd., North Oaks, MN). Visitation one hour prior to service. Private interment Roselawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Presbyterian Homes Foundation, HealthPartners Hospice, or Roseville Lutheran Church.
