Margaret M. Waldorf

Margaret M. Waldorf, aged 92, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2026. Born on March 13, 1933, in St. Paul, she attended the Nativity of Our Lord Elementary School, Derham Hall High School, and the College of St. Catherine, where she earned a degree in education. She went on to spend many years as a substitute teacher in the St. Paul Public Schools, a career that reflected her dedication to education.

Margaret was strong in her faith and loved her time with family and friends. She enjoyed social gatherings, especially lunches with her friends Sally and the Sandy's. Her love for dogs, chocolate, and boating on the St. Croix River were well known among her loved ones.

She is survived by her daughter Kathy Rosenberger, son Tim Waldorf (Michele), daughter Mary Ann Dovolos (Jeff), and grandsons Nick, Brandon, Michael, and Andrew. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Pam.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am with a visitation 1 hour prior, Friday January 23rd at Lumen Christi Catholic Church, 2055 Bohland Ave, St. Paul, MN 55116, with burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
