Mai Thi Vu

Mai T. Vu passed away on May 3, 2022, just shy of her 84 years in this world. Her life began in a small village and later in her youth, her young family would be uprooted by war. From a small village, her life’s journey would take her across the Pacific Ocean to a new life.

Mai had deep faith in God, an uncommon inner strength, and endurance with grace that formed the canvas of her life. Her life was devoted to caring for her family. Our mother enjoyed traveling, gardening, and spoiling her grandchildren with treats - the grandchildren who always sought comfort in her embrace.

She is so missed and loved by her husband, Tuan; 10 children: Vuong (spouse Mai), Hoang (Trang), Nga (Pho), Minh, Hong (Khanh), Thuy (Dao), Thuy (Duong), Lan, Vinh, Huy (Sheila); 15 grandchildren: Maria (Jonathan), Vu, Quoc Anh (Jayme), Viet, Quynh, Nam (fiancé Tia), Linh (Jacob), Lan (Niraj), Sang, Tri, Duy, Nguyen, An, Felicity and Christian; and great grandchild, Eva.

We remember her with great love and joy.

Two visitations; Visitation 5:30-9PM, Tuesday, May 10, and second visitation 5-9PM, Wednesday, May 11 both at O'Halloran and Murphy Funeral Home (575 Snelling Ave S., St. Paul, 651-698-0796). Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM, Thursday, May 12, at Cathedral of St. Paul (239 Selby Ave, St. Paul). Interment, Resurrection Cemetery.
