Madeline “Maddie” Rose Blair, 15, of Lakeville, MN, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2021.
She leaves behind her parents Jeff and Beth Blair, siblings Robert, William, Jeb, and Maisie, grandfather Rex, grandparents Beverly and Jack, great grandmother Rosemary and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was greeted in Heaven by her grandmother, Rita.
Maddie was in the class of 2024 at Rosemount High School where she played clarinet and lettered in academics. She was excited to be back in school full time. Her favorite thing to do was travel. She especially loved theme parks and visiting street murals with her mom throughout the Twin Cities and the cities she toured. Maddie was very creative, loved photography and writing, and recently became a Junior Writer for her local neighborhood magazine. She enjoyed antiquing and secondhand stores. She also loved baking and had a dream of owning a chain of bakery and coffee shops in Victorian Houses across the United States. She loved exploring the outdoors and looked forward to taking evening walks or bike rides so she could watch the sunset and take pictures. Recently, she discovered a talent for bowling and she was looking forward to developing her skills.
Maddie was known for her kind and gentle heart, and she always had a smile on her face. She was smart, witty, and had a great sense of humor. Maddie had a strong sense of purpose and always followed her heart. Friendships were very important to her and she was blessed to have many close relationships. She loved her family and friends dearly, and she will be missed by all of us.
