Lorraine M. Zweber
Age 92, Passed away peacefully March 29, 2025 at Pillars Hospice. She was a loving wife, mom, grandma and friend to many.
Lorraine was born August 28, 1932. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 62 years, Bernard. She is survived by her children Mary Beth (Fjelstad), Kathleen (Greg) Trulsen, Maureen (Jim) Benoe, Stephen, Brian (Laura), Paul and Patrick. Grandchildren; Amy (Andy) Arndt, David (Erica) Fjelstad, Kristen (Josh) Martin, Katie Benoe, Stephanie and Roxanne Zweber. Great grandchildren; Elijah, Abel, Asher and Oakley Fjelstad. Also survived by her brother Thomas Roehl, sisters-in-law Rosemary Roehl and Molly Roehl, brothers-in-law Ben, Val, Jerome, Ed, Lenny and many other relatives and friends. Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents Nicholas and Lorretta (O’Connor) Roehl, baby sister Jeanette, brothers Francis, Robert and Gerald. Lorraine grew up on the family farm in New Market Township, MN. She graduated from Lakeville High School in 1950, graduated from St. Catherine’s University in 1954 with a degree in nursing, married Bernie, then settled in their beloved Portland Ave home for 50 years. In 2007 they moved to Greenhouse Village Co-op in Roseville, MN, enjoying many friendships and “easy living”. Lorraine instilled a strong independence and pride in her children. She made many sacrifices to make sure all her children received private school education from elementary school through college graduation. Lorraine valued education and the worldly view it brought. She cherished good friends, neighbors and community. The family would like to thank the staff at Pillars Hospice for the loving care of Lorraine in the last 8 months of her life. It was a complete circle for Lorraine in receiving such wonderful care after devoting years of care to others in her nursing career.

Memorial Mass 11:00 AM May 28, 2025 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 2131 Fairview Ave. N Roseville, MN. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Private Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
