Age 75 of Eagan  

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her daughters on August 22nd, 2023 

Lorraine graduated from the University of Iowa and earned her master’s degree from the University of St. Thomas. She spent her 45 year career working on the Special Education team in St. Paul Public Schools. When she wasn’t leading the classroom, she was leading the family on memorable adventures. Lorraine enjoyed travelling, shopping, and hosting, and she was known for her excellent spaghetti sauce. Above all, she cherished her time with her daughters and grandchildren.  

Lorraine was preceded in death by her father, Aldo; and brothers, Michael and Derek. 

She is survived by her two daughters with Greg Grose, Samantha Grose (Kande Ngalamulume) and Jacqueline (Doug) Nelson; mother, Stella; sister-in-law, Susan; grandchildren, Caleb, Cameron, and Josephine; as well as many other loving family and friends. 

A celebration of life mass will be held 10:30AM Wednesday, September 20th, 2023, with a gathering of family and friends 9:30-10:30AM, all at O’Halloran and Murphy, 575 Snelling Ave. S, St. Paul MN. Service will be livestreamed on the O'Halloran and Murphy Facebook page. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Mayo Clinic Department of Development, 200 First St. SW, Rochester, MN 55905.
