Linda was born in St. Paul, grew up in Roseville, attended grade school at St Rose of Lima, graduated high school from Our Lady of Peace, received her Bachelor’s degree from Mankato State College, and earned her Master’s from St. Mary’s University. She had a long career in art education, ending with many years teaching art at St. Rose of Lima School. She was a world traveler and loved to garden, cook, research genealogy, and spend time with family and friends. Linda was preceded in death by her father, Laurence; mother, Angeline (née Hermes); and brother, Laurence “Larry”. She is survived by her sister, Carol (Ronald) Miller; sister-in-law, Mary; nephew, Erik (Lisa) Miller; niece, Jennifer (Michael) Riner; great-niece and nephews, Nolan, Elena, Nathan, and Brett; and other loving family and friends. A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday, June 10th, 4-6 PM at Roseville Memorial Chapel, 2245 Hamline Ave. N, Roseville MN. A memorial Mass will be held Friday, June 11th, 10 AM at St Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 2048 Hamline Ave. N, Roseville MN, with a gathering one hour prior to Mass at Church. Following Mass, there will be a luncheon at St. Rose, and then Interment at Roselawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to St. Rose of Lima School.
