Kipp R. Jacobson

Kipp Jacobson, 52, of Ham Lake, MN passed away suddenly Sunday, March 28, 2021. Kipp grew up in Coon Rapids, MN where he played youth baseball and hockey. He graduated from Coon Rapids High School in 1987, continued to play Town Ball and for a time studied at Anoka Ramsey Community College. He had a great love of the outdoors and kept his fishing gear with him in case he ran into a good spot. More recently he discovered a passion for Disc Golfing, again enjoying time outdoors with friends. Kipp was preceded in death by his father, Jerome “Jake” Jacobson, grandparents, Bill & Gladys Johnson and Lawrence & Josephine Jacobson and niece Angela Karlstad. Survived by his mother, Dorothy “Toni” (Johnson) Jacobson, Arden Hills, MN; sisters Kim Jacobson of St. Paul, MN; Karen Franken of Vermillion, SD and Kristi Hertz of Roseville, MN, nieces and nephews: Jessica (Brad) Richardson, Sarah (James) Bean, Jennafer (Brad) Balgie, Jerome Franken, Spenser (Ashlee) Barton, Connor (Erin) Hertz, Sydney (Josh) Reeser, Jaimie Hertz, Sebastian Walker and many other family members and countless friends. If you knew Kipp for a day or many years, he considered you a friend. He had a big heart and a kind spirit, and he will be greatly missed by those who knew him. Celebration Monday April 12 form 3-5pm at the Roseville Memorial Chapel.
