Kerry-Ann Robertha Hamilton-Rose
July 18, 1975 — December 18, 2025
Our beautiful Kerry-Ann, 50, of Lauderdale, MN — mother, daughter, sister, and wife — has been taken from us much too soon. She passed unexpectedly on December 18, 2025, following complications from heart surgery she had earlier this year.
Kerry-Ann was born in Kingston, Jamaica on July 18, 1975 and she emigrated to Minnesota at 15 with her family. She quickly embraced MN as her home and loved all of the seasons. The North Shore was her happy place, and our family enjoyed many day trips there for her birthday or spontaneous fun. She was a caring person who loved her family, her home, and her community.
Like the "Queen of the Night" flower, she was a night-owl, rare and precious, and given such a short time to bloom. She will live on, not only in memory, but in the gift she left us all — her beloved daughter, Amanda. Kerry-Ann is also survived by her husband, Michael; siblings, Kason and Kristina (Matthew); her nephew, Marlowe; and mother, Lilieth. She is preceded in death by her father, Robert.
We are blessed to have known and loved her warm, beautiful spirit. She made the holidays truly magical.
Funeral Mass at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church (St. Paul, MN) on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial at Roselawn Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring.
