Born December 1, 1937 in St Paul, passed away April 21, 2022 peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Ken was preceded in death by his beloved daughter Mary Beth Witte Stupka (John), parents Harriett and Laurence Witte Sr. and brother Laurence Jr. He is survived by Liz his loving wife of 60 years, his sons Scott (Clay) and Patrick (Betty), son in law John Stupka, grandchildren Abby and Nathan Witte, Jack and Michael Stupka, sister-in-law Patty Witte, and many other relatives and friends.

Ken was an artist, who loved drawing and painting since childhood, ultimately receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Notre Dame. Ken served as a commissioned officer in the US Army Reserves at Ft Snelling for nine years. He worked for many years as a graphic designer and after retirement became an avid, award-winning watercolorist. Ken also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, family vacations, and gatherings with his Tuesday Painters group. He was a devoted Catholic and a member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish in St. Paul for over fifty years where he volunteered in many capacities over the years including choir, County Fair, Boy Scouts, Men’s Club and Knights of Columbus. He was extremely devoted to his wife Liz, his children, his loving grandchildren and his many cousins. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM, Thursday, April 28^th at Nativity of Our Lord, 1900 Stanford Ave, St Paul, with a visitation from 9:30 – 11 AM. Memorials preferred to donors’ choice or family wishes. Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
