Kelly Monroe Whalen

Kelly Monroe Whalen, 34, of St. Paul and River Falls, WI, passed away May 4, 2026. Survived by his mother and father, Wendy and Patrick; brothers, Nick and Brady (his twin); SILs, Allison and Sydney; fiancée, Hali, and much extended family. Kelly grew up and was educated in St. Paul, but found his home and community in sobriety in River Falls. An active member of the sober community, Kelly held his faith dear and believed deeply in validating anyone’s journey to redemption. Kelly’s abilities to atone himself, share his stories and love, and support others touched countless lives; through these impacts his memory will endure. We invite you to gather with the family on Sunday, May 17, 2026, for a visitation from 1:00 - 3:00 PM, followed by a celebration of Kelly’s life from 3:00 - 4:00 PM at O’Halloran and Murphy Funeral Home (575 Snelling Ave. S., St. Paul, MN). The family requests anyone who attends to wear brightly colored clothing.
