Obituary

Kelly Joseph Gibbons
Age 60 of Circle Pines
Formerly of St. Paul

Passed away April 24, 2022
After a recent diagnosis of stage 4 melanoma on March 17, Kelly peacefully passed away on Sunday night at his home on Golden Lake Pond surrounded by his wife, Jo, his five kids, Cullen (Theresa) Kiley (Nick), Devin (Kalee), Mckenna (John), and Torin. He was able to spend his final day with his seven grandkids Maura(6), Lucy(4), Desmond(2) & Rose(8mo), Hazel(10mo), Fitz(2) & Edith(9mo). Born on July 19, 1961 to Dan & Dee Gibbons, Kelly grew up in Como Park with his 7 siblings – Mike, Dan, Tim, Duffy, Colleen, Brigid, & Andy. He was proud of where he came from, always introducing himself as Kelly Gibbons, Como Park, Class of '80. He always had a joke, a story, or a strong opinion to share. He enjoyed a round of golf, hockey, time with family and a drink around a fire. His pride laid in his Irish blood, his kids and grandkids. Grandpa Kelly was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all. Visitation 4-8pm Thursday, April 28 at the Roseville Memorial Chapel, 2245 Hamline Ave. N., Roseville.
