Kathleen Mary (Downey) Brooks

Kathleen M. Brooks (Downey) age 77 of St. Paul, passed away peacefully at home on December 20, 2025. Kathy was born January 25, 1948 in Little Falls, MN. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, married to her devoted husband Thomas Brooks for 56 years. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; James & Beverly Downey, sister Christine (Gillespie) and brother James.  She is survived by her husband Tom; children, Jennifer (Chris) Duden and Kerrie Brooks; grandchildren Sabrina, Miranda, and Annika, and many other nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Kathy had a dry sense of humor, loved Lake Superior and the North Shore, enjoyed completing crossword puzzles, and cherished time spent with her granddaughters. 

Memorial gathering Friday, January 9, 4pm- 7pm, at O’Halloran and Murphy Funeral Home. (575 Snelling Ave. S., Saint Paul).
