Karen R. Riepe, a cherished member of our community, devoted mother, and faithful servant of God, passed away on August 2, 2023. She was 71 years old.

Born on March 18, 1952, Karen was the beloved eldest of four siblings. Her life was a testament to kindness, care, and unwavering love for her family, especially her beloved son, Jeffrey Riepe.

Karen was a dedicated member of North Heights Lutheran Church, where she found solace, community, and a deep connection to her faith. She nurtured her spiritual growth through her passion for bible studies, which allowed her to explore and strengthen her relationship with God.

Beyond her devotion to her faith, Karen had an appreciation for the arts and interior design. Her creative spirit thrived as she adorned her surroundings with beauty and elegance. She believed in the transformative power of art and design to bring joy to others.

Karen's inquisitive nature led her to explore different cultures and languages. She held a deep curiosity about the world and its diversity, which enriched her understanding of humanity.

One of Karen's favorite places on Earth was Lake Superior, Minnesota. She found joy in the serene beauty of nature and cherished moments spent by the tranquil waters of the lake.
