Justin David Mammenga

It is with great sorrow to announce Justin David Mammenga, 42 years old, born June 13, 1979 at Rochester Methodist Hospital, Rochester, MN to Diane Louis Stevens Mammenga and Christian Jorgensen, passed away on Monday, July 12 at United Hospital, St. Paul, MN. He attended Stewartville High School and graduated from Highland Park Sr. High and later attended St. Paul College. He received his CDL and drove for a few trucking companies, First Student Bus, US Postal Service, and Disabled American Veterans for the love of the road. Justin was very adventurous and enjoyed biking, skateboarding, snowboarding, and leisure walks. When he wasn’t out in nature, he enjoyed listening to music, cooking, drawing, hanging out with friends, and tinkering with various projects. Justin was loyal, generous and kind, he would give you the shirt off his back. He was really one of a kind with his compassion for others and great sense of humor. He kept people rolling in laughter because he could find humor in the most mundane life circumstances. He is survived by his brother, Ryan (Danielle) Sackett, sister Carrie Mammenga, girlfriend Mao Lee, nieces and nephews, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Justin is preceded in death by his father Christian and mother Diane. Justin will be laid to rest next to his mother in Fairview Cemetery in Oakland, MN.
