Justin Eugene Loucks, 87, of Sun City West, AZ
Justin Loucks peacefully passed away on January 14, 2025, in Sun City West, AZ. Justin was born August 16, 1937, in Oklahoma City, OK and was adopted at an early age by Wellington “Duke” and Augusta May Loucks.
Justin earned his BS from Northeastern State College in 1959 and his Masters in Guidance and Counseling from South Dakota State University in 1972. Justin received his Order to Report for Induction in the US Armed Forces on October 13, 1960. During Justin’s 22 years in the Air Force, he earned numerous accolades including Expert Marksmanship, Air Force Commendation Medal, Combat Readiness Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal. Upon honorable discharge, Justin’s civilian work was still centered around aircraft, defense, or communications systems.
Justin married Margaret Brown of St. Paul, MN on February 10, 1961, and were married for 64 years. Justin and Margaret enjoyed traveling and spending time with their children and grandchildren. Justin is survived by Margaret and their four children, Jay (Kim), Vince (Laena), Stacy (Maribeth), Nikki (Ken), and 5 grandchildren. Justin is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Gordon Loucks and sister Marilyn Loucks.
Services are scheduled for May 7 at the Church of St. Peter’s, 1405 Sibley Memorial Hwy, St Paul, MN 55150. Visitation begins at 10:00am, followed by mass, lunch, and services at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
